Our Mission

We believe that competitive elections are essential to a healthy democracy. Unfortunately, the vast majority of elections in the Mountain State have been dominated by one party. To change that reality, we need brave candidates to provide meaningful choices to the residents of West Virginia, even if they are unlikely to win. Currently, the political system is not set up to support or even encourage leaders to take on that challenge.

Ballot Boosters changes that. By investing in candidates in tough districts early in their political careers, we create a pathway for them to develop networks, gain experience, and shape West Virginia's future for decades to come.

Our vision is 3-fold:

• We create meaningful work for campaign professionals who believe in West Virginia. 

• And we give supporters a meaningful and affordable avenue to invest in a future with competitive elections across the state.
